MINNEAPOLIS (06/28/2017) – Katie Bongard has joined Cushman & Wakefield as General Manager of the Class A RBC Plaza office tower in downtown Minneapolis.
Bongard, a 15-year veteran of the Minneapolis-St. Paul commercial real estate industry, joins the company from Piedmont Office Realty Trust, where she acted as manager of U.S. Bancorp Center, a 933,000 square foot office building located on Nicollet Mall.
“Katie has a remarkable track record and reputation as a property manager in the downtown Minneapolis marketplace, and her contributions to the community have been admirable,” said Lisa Dongoske, Executive Vice President-Asset & Occupier Services, Cushman & Wakefield. “We couldn’t be more excited to welcome her to our team.”
In her new role, Bongard will oversee day-to-day management of RBC Plaza, a 709,690 sq. ft. property located at 555 Nicollet Mall and 60 S. 6th St. in Minneapolis. The building was repositioned through a major renovation in 2015 that converted multiple floors of existing retail space into new office space.
Bongard is an active member of the commercial real estate industry in Minneapolis-St. Paul. She is a 2017 member of the Greater Minneapolis Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Board of Directors, and earlier this year was recognized as the Best of BOMA Property Management Professional of the Year. In addition, Katie serves on the Board of Directors of the Downtown Minneapolis Transportation Management Organization and is actively involved with the Minneapolis Skyway Advisory Committee and the Business Block Club.
